The Partnership for Conflict, Crime and Security Research (PaCCS) has two current funding opportunities. One is a call for Interdisciplinary Innovation Awards (grants will be made up to £100,000 for a period of 18 months) – this aims to support the development of adventurous, ‘higher-risk’ innovation in these fields. The other opportunity is an Interdisciplinary Research Grant of between £400,000 and £800,000, designed to support research into one of the following themes:
The deadline for submission of proposals for both awards is 22nd October 2015. For more information about these two awards and eligibility criteria, please see here:
The Arts and Humanities Research Council are offering ‘early career’ research grants of between £50,000 and £250,000 for a varying duration (up to a limit of 60 months). These grants are not designed to support individual academic scholarship but to allow individuals or organisations to collaborate with others in their field on a well-defined research topic.
Grants are awarded on an on-going basis. For more information on eligibility criteria, advice on how to write a proposal and grant structures, please see here: http://www.ahrc.ac.uk/SiteCollectionDocuments/Research-Funding-Guide.pdf
